angel Kyodo williams is an internationally renowned Buddhist trainer, author, social visionary, and maverick spiritual teacher. She has been called “the most intriguing African-American Buddhist in America” by Library Journal. Her book, Being Black: Zen and the Art of Living with Fearlessness and Grace, has been hailed as “an act of love” by Pulitzer Prize winner Alice Walker and a “classic” by Buddhist teacher Jack Kornfield. Her newest book, Radical Dharma, Talking Race, Love, and Liberation, explores racial injustice as a barrier to collective awakening.
